This is a very special week for WIERD as we welcome our long-time allies from the lovely Ms. Blix Ellerson's Brave Exhibitions scene in Berlin and The Future Echo crew from the great Mr. Michael Giebl's highly regarded party in Vienna, together responsible for hosting so many excellent shows and parties for touring Wierd bands and DJs the past few years, and representing the Very Rare heart and spririt of minimal electronic Europe! We've been tryin to get these guys over to NYC forever and late last night 14 of our favorite Neue Deutsche Wierdos rolled into a loft down the street here in the BK and are ready to bring it on wed.! So it with pleasure that this week Brave Exhibitions and WIERD present the US live debuts of VELVET CONDOM and AAEAEAA(Martin from Selfish Cunt) with guest DJs Blix and A Nurse Called Mike for a krautastic double bill at midnite!

This event will also be the US record release party for the fantastic 33 track international double cassette compilation Forward + Rewind: The Future Echo Tapes that Michael has curated for Phil Strobel's new Berlin-based label Aufnahme + Wiedergabe. This huge effort is without doubt one of the most comprehensive documents of the contemporary dark electronic underground in many years, and in honor of this week's B.E./F.E. takeover of the Wierd World Phil and Michael are generously offering the entire release for free download all day wednesday!
